Job Summary: We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Academic Tutors to join our team at Broward College. As an Academic Tutor II, you will play a vital role in supporting students in achieving academic success by providing one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, sharing learning strategies, and performing administrative duties. Key Details: Location: Remote (with some on-campus presence required) Compensation: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour Work Schedule: Part-time, variable hours (up to 27.5 hours per week), including evenings and weekends Start Date: Immediate openings available Responsibilities: Conduct individual, small group, and remote tutoring sessions to help students understand course concepts and become independent learners Assess, assist, and encourage students during tutoring sessions Monitor tutor appointment schedules and assist students with making appointments Develop workshops and exam reviews, and facilitate group study sessions Participate in tutor training sessions and department meetings Represent the Academic Success Center during classroom visitations, orientations, and campus-wide events Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field Tutoring experience in subject area strongly preferred Advanced levels and proficiency in the subject areas to be tutored Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends Must be available to work a minimum of 10 hours per week What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate Opportunity to make a positive impact on students' academic success Flexible work schedule Professional development opportunities How to Apply: If you are passionate about education and meet the requirements, please submit your application, resume, and transcripts to [insert application link].
