Remote / Home Office, Anywhere in the US A global engineering manufacturer specializing in heat transfer solutions—specifically tubular and scraped surface heat exchangers—serving the food processing, environmental, chemical, pharmaceutical, and renewable energy (biogas) sectors. The company is recognized for its engineering innovation, designing and building advanced systems for pasteurization, waste treatment, thermal processing, and energy recovery applications. Position Overview We are seeking a technically skilled and commercially driven Sales & Business Development Engineer to lead sales initiatives and support business growth across North America. This role is responsible for managing distributor relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting customers with technical insight throughout the sales cycle. The position is a key contributor to the company's continued expansion in the North American market. Key Responsibilities Drive sales and market development throughout North America. Manage and support regional distributors and agents. Identify and develop new customer opportunities in key industrial markets. Collaborate with the Business Development Manager on go-to-market strategies and revenue objectives. Prepare and follow up on quotations, lead commercial negotiations, and enhance conversion rates. Develop sales budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics (KPIs) to support sustainable growth. Coordinate and prepare responses to RFPs/RFQs, ensuring thorough risk analysis and mitigation planning. Provide technical support for the design and bolthires estimation of systems, ensuring compliance with both customer specifications and internal standards. Oversee the full sales lifecycle—from purchase order through project execution and delivery. Assist in planning and participating in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events. Reports directly to the Business Development Manager. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or chemical engineering. 5+ years’ experience in technical or industrial B2B sales, including market development, revenue growth, contract negotiation, and budgeting. Strong preference for experience with Shell & Tube heat exchangers, evaporation systems, industrial process equipment, or renewable energy / biogas applications. Proficient in CRM systems and sales analytics tools. Spanish language skills are a plus. Ability and willingness to travel up to 50%. Compensation / Bonus / Benefits (This is just a guideline based on the candidate). Base Salary + Company incentive program + Health Care Plan: The company will contribute to health benefits, into a Qualified Small Employer Health Reimbursement Arrangement (QSEHRA) + Company’s SEP IRA: will pay 5% of the annual base salary into SEP IRA account with Edward Jones + Vacation: 15 days paid vacation (3 weeks) annually + Business Travel Expenses: The Company will pay all expenses travel costs (via monthly expense reports) related to business activities that are properly documented with receipts + Home Office + Cell phone.
