About the position As a Starbucks Shift Supervisor, you will lead store operations during your shift, ensuring a high-quality customer service experience while working alongside a team of baristas. This role emphasizes teamwork, leadership, and the ability to create a positive environment for both customers and partners. You will be responsible for maintaining operational standards, guiding team members, and fostering a culture of connection and belonging within the store. Responsibilities Lead each shift and manage store operations standards. , Deliver quality customer service and expertly-crafted products. , Motivate and guide team members to create an uplifting experience. , Maintain an encouraging team environment and grow leadership skills. , Handle cash and ensure store safety and security. , Prepare and coach the preparation of food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers. Requirements 1 year of customer service experience in a retail or restaurant environment. , Six months of experience in a position requiring constant customer interaction. , Six months of experience delegating tasks to other employees or coordinating tasks of two or more employees. , Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality. , Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. Nice-to-haves Experience with cash-handling and store safety procedures. , Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships. , Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.
