About the position The Teen & Early Intervention Specialist is responsible for overseeing teen programming and early intervention initiatives under the direct supervision of the Comin Up Site Director. This role focuses on providing needs-based services and activities to at-risk and gang-involved youth aged 12-18 in Fort Worth, aiming to reduce gang violence and positively impact their lives. Responsibilities Accountable for assigned programming and activities , Ensure quality programming and activities , Actively participate on a multi-disciplinary team , Adhere to all organizational health and safety policies , Take necessary precautions to protect members and staff , Report incidents and complete documentation on time , Maintain discipline and de-escalate conflicts , Complete all required reports and administrative duties on time , Collect and manage required data for reporting , Ensure accuracy of data and reporting , Be a positive role model for youth , Maintain emotional control under pressure Requirements High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred , Minimum 1 year experience with youth, preferably with teens , Ability to work evening and night hours , Ability to connect quickly and establish rapport , Ability to facilitate, teach, or instruct , Ability to follow instructions and conform to policies , Ability to relate to at-risk youth , Excellent listening and interpersonal skills , Detail-oriented , Must be able to obtain CPR and First Aid certification , Must pass required background and drug screens , Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record Nice-to-haves Bilingual , Currently certified in CPR/First Aid , Knowledge of problems faced by at-risk youth , Youth development experience or Boys & Girls Club experience Benefits Paid time off (PTO) , Paid holidays Apply Job!
