We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to oversee live event productions, including ESPN's most complex and prominent games. As a Director II, you will be responsible for executing the technical production of broadcasts, following storylines, and collaborating with Producers to capture the game. You will also work closely with Coordinating Producers and Producers to provide guidance and direction on content strategies and inclusion. Job Details: Post Name: Director II Hiring Organization: Disney Industry: Private Employment Type: Full Time Salary: $25-$30/Hour Job Location: Bristol, USA Key Responsibilities: Design, coordinate, and execute live productions of live remote and REMI games Supervise technical teams for live event productions, providing guidance, feedback, and development Collaborate with Remote Operations to determine technical facility and personnel needs for broadcasts Work with Producers and Coordinating Producers to determine creative vision and technical direction for shows Organize and lead meetings to develop production and operational strategies Make ongoing decisions regarding what images and sounds will be broadcast Work with engineering professionals to integrate all elements in a broadcast, including graphics, enhanced technology elements, switcher effects, and composite music Requirements: Extensive experience in live event production, including AP, Production, Producer, and Director roles Deep understanding of technical roles and responsibilities Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work well under pressure and make quick decisions High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in broadcasting, communication, journalism, or a related field preferred Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of complex live game directing experience Understanding of the financial implications of directing live remote and REMI games Passion for popular culture and helping to define ESPN viewer tastes Understanding of market positioning and strategies for assigned games We Want to Hear From You!
