About the position We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Master's Level Group Facilitator to join our team in a part-time, contracted role. The position involves leading therapeutic sessions for individuals dealing with mental health and addiction issues, primarily during evenings and every other Saturday. The facilitator will create a supportive environment, utilize various therapeutic techniques, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Responsibilities Conduct group therapy sessions for individuals with mental health or addiction issues , Create a safe and supportive environment for participants to share their experiences , Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including art therapy, to facilitate healing and personal growth , Assess patients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans , Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations , Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients , Provide education and resources to participants to enhance their understanding of their conditions and promote self-care Requirements Proven experience in hospital or direct support settings , Expertise in chronic pain counseling and addiction counseling , Strong assessment skills to evaluate patients' needs and progress , Knowledge of medical records management, including ICD-9 coding , Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality , Ability to effectively communicate with individuals of diverse backgrounds and ages Nice-to-haves Benefits Hybrid work arrangement , Competitive pay of $200 per evening and $200 for Saturday daytime sessions Apply Job!
