Elementary Bilingual Teacher (Telugu) - Part-time Opportunity

As a part-time teacher, you will play a vital role in instructing identified students and providing them with the knowledge, proficiencies, and experiences necessary for academic and social success in the regular classroom. Key Responsibilities: Schedule, plan, and instruct students on District and state-approved curriculum in self-contained classrooms and small group settings Provide systematic instruction by teaching lessons in English or Telugu, as appropriate to meet student needs Interact with students by speaking fluently and precisely, modeling good language and vocabulary usage in both English and Telugu Conduct screenings to determine student eligibility in the program and review and interpret results Set high expectations for students and hold them accountable for their academic work Construct and conduct assessments to evaluate progress and monitor student progress via assessments Communicate with parents and students on progress and encourage parent involvement in monitoring student progress Collaborate with other grade-level or departmental teachers and support teachers to plan, accommodate, implement, and assess lessons and progress Requirements: Valid Illinois Professional Educator License with K-9 Bilingual or K-12 Bilingual endorsement Bilingual in Telugu Flexible, team-oriented, and understanding of best practices in English Language Learning What We Offer: Competitive salary commensurate with education and experience Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive educational environment Professional growth and development opportunities How to Apply: Ready to join our team?
