Data Entry- Part-Time

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Under direct supervision, enter customer and staff data into computer databases.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: ? Enter alphabetic, numeric or symbolic data from source document using online computer terminal or personal computer. ? Keys and verifies results according to procedures provided. ? Recognizes and corrects errors in original data prior to processing. ? Recognizes deficiencies in source documents and returns them to originator for correction. ? Maintains customer and staff database. ? Clerical duties for office administrator ? Maintains computerized departmental records. ? Maintains confidentiality

EXPERIENCE:
? Some data entry experience

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Certification:
? High School Diploma or GED

Special Knowledge/Skills:
? Ability to use personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases, and do word processing
? Proficient typing, keyboarding, file maintenance
? Ability to meet established deadlines
? Ability to use the district?s Management Information System software
