Customer Project Designer

We're seeking a skilled Customer Project Designer to work with our clients in the Americas (USA timezones only) to deliver exceptional design solutions. About Discourse: We're a growing team of 100 people, powering over 30,000 online communities worldwide, including Fortune 500 companies and leading players in the tech, gaming, and AI industries. About the Job Working with enterprise clients on 16 and 40-hour customization packages Collaborating with Customer Success Managers to meet client needs and expectations Maintaining client-specific design requirements Implementing large batches of design changes to existing client themes and components Developing new open-source themes for Discourse communities during quieter periods Providing support on our Meta forum and via email Requirements We're looking for someone with: Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Familiarity with EmberJS or similar JavaScript frameworks Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to interpret brand guidelines and implement conforming design Experience with design software like Figma or Sketch (familiarity with building themes for Discourse is a plus) Our Culture and Benefits We're committed to creating a welcoming workplace where diverse backgrounds and cultures can thrive.
