Body Shop Technician

Job Summary:

Penske is seeking to join our team. In this role, you'll utilize cutting-edge technology and repair techniques to perform minor and major truck and trailer collision repairs. You'll work with a supportive team and have access to ongoing training and development opportunities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities: ? Perform truck collision repair and maintenance services, including cab/sheet metal repair, welding/fabricating, suspension repair/alignment, and surface preparation. ? Identify necessary parts for repair and document warrantable repairs on repair orders. ? Maintain a safe and organized work area and perform road tests on vehicles when necessary. ? Complete duties efficiently and with minimal supervision, adhering to safety and maintenance policies. ? Other tasks and projects as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience:
? 3-6 years of practical experience in truck and trailer repair or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
? High School Diploma or equivalent required; vocational/technical school preferred.
? Proficiency in using welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools.
? Valid driver?s license and basic computer skills required.
? Ability to adhere to specific instructions, guidelines, and safety regulations.
? Willingness to travel as necessary and complete background checks and drug screenings.
