What You Will Be Doing • Orchestrate the logistics of live virtual workshops with precision—managing breakout rooms, facilitating smooth transitions, and optimizing group activities • Drive student motivation through strategic interventions, personalized encouragement, and creating moments of connection in the virtual space • Maintain optimal engagement levels by reading virtual room dynamics and deploying targeted strategies to keep energy high • Execute behind-the-scenes workshop operations that enable lead educators to focus exclusively on content delivery • Establish yourself as a trusted presence and culture ambassador across diverse program offerings What You Won’t Be Doing • Delivering academic content or subject matter instruction—our AI platform and lead educators handle the teaching • Creating curriculum materials, lesson plans, or evaluating student academic performance • Running workshops independently or designing educational content • Performing passive monitoring roles—this position demands proactive engagement and constant attention Virtual Learning Assistant Key Responsibilities Drive exceptional student outcomes by engineering seamless, high-energy virtual learning experiences that maximize engagement, build confidence, and create the optimal conditions for student success. Basic Requirements • Commitment to work 8am - 5pm M-F US Mountain Time (UTC-7) • Minimum 3 years of demonstrated excellence in youth leadership capacities (mentoring, coaching, tutoring, or program facilitation) • Educational background within US, Canadian, or UK school systems (K-16) - must have attended school in one of these countries (work location is remote) • Superior communication abilities and demonstrated proficiency with digital learning platforms • Proven ability to create energizing student experiences while maintaining meticulous attention to operational details Nice-to-have Requirements • Experience implementing or facilitating online learning environments • Demonstrated success in extracurricular program leadership (after-school initiatives, camps, clubs) About The Novatio School Novatio is Where a Child’s Future is Reimagined Through Personalized Learning This school is the first virtual, bilingual immersion school in Arizona. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $20 USD/hour, which equates to $40,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
