Staff Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description Main Activities Provision & Manage Infrastructure: Support Azure resource deployment and lifecycle management using Infrastructure as Code (Bicep). Networking: Configure and troubleshoot Azure networking components, including route tables, Virtual WAN, and application gateways. Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Assist in monitoring, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of cloud environments to maintain high availability. Automate Pipelines: Design, implement, and optimize deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD tools, ensuring reliable and efficient delivery. Policy & Security: Apply and maintain Azure policies and security best practices across all subscriptions and resources. Documentation: Contribute to clear, actionable documentation for processes, architecture, and troubleshooting guides. Continuous Improvement: Collaborate on process improvements, automation initiatives, and the adoption of DevSecOps methodologies. Knowledge and Skills Requirements Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Powershell/Bash/Python, and Infrastructure as Code, such as Bicep, ARM or Terraform. Experience with Software Development Lifecycle, including version control systems and collaborative development practices. Understanding of networking, security layers and communication protocols Solid understanding of cloud architecture principles: scalability, high availability, and security. Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and associated management tools. Previous exposure to hub-and-spoke architectures in Azure environments. Experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or similar platforms. Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe), and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence. Qualifications Must have Skills: Azure Devops Work Item Creation and Management (Strong), Terraform (Strong), Azure IaaS, Azure DevOps (Strong), Hub-and-Spoke Architecture.
