The **Sr. Pharmacy Programs Specialist** is responsible for the development along with execution in advancement of the performance of the Health Mart Atlas PSAO network. As a SME in operations of pharmacy, the coach is responsible for developing and executing strategy, awareness, adoption, and innovation efforts on key clinical, operational, and financial pharmacy initiatives across the Health Mart Atlas network. This individual must have the ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with individuals from other business units and outside partners. They must exhibit an excellent understanding of retail clinical pharmacy operations and services, knowledge of the managed care pharmacy environment, comfort with educating others on clinical and operational performance metrics, and willingness to stay informed on managed care priorities and trends in the independent pharmacy market. They must also have the ability to decipher data to communicate and engage in key initiatives that drive results. The director will report to the **Senior Director, Pharmacy Engagement** and serve as a member of their leadership team providing subject matter expertise and customer insights to drive overall performance of the Health Mart Atlas network. • *Position Description** The **Sr. Pharmacy Programs Specialist** will be tasked with supporting the performance of the Health Mart Atlas network. Responsibilities for the role may include: - Assisting in implementation of key performance programs within Health Mart Atlas member pharmacies - Providing in-pharmacy/virtual performance consults for targeted key customers - Working with performance advisors to drive detailed performance consult follow-up - Educating pharmacy members and internal stakeholders on payer performance program designs and metrics, performance monitoring software, and related resources - Collaborating and building key performance strategy initiatives - Document and share best practices and resources related to performance improvement - Collaborating with stakeholders across the enterprise - Contributing to the strength of our team culture and community • *Qualifications** • *********This position requires up to 70% travel*********** • *Minimum Requirements** Degree or equivalent and 7+ years operational experience including 4+ years community pharmacy experience • *Critical Skills** - 4+ years' experience in retail, pharmacy operations required, either chain or independent. - Excellent project management, critical thinking, and analytical skills - Industry representation in state and federal associations and knowledge of state pharmacy laws and regulations - Ability to influence, manage, and navigate a large geographic territory - Ability to drive results by influencing without authority is a must. • *Additional Knowledge & Skills** - Advanced knowledge of Operations Management; Excellent organizational skills, excellent communication skills (verbal/written), and management skills - Field experience with a national or regional pharmacy chain or inside home office experience a plus. - Able to track & drive results to meet short and long term goals. • *Required Certifications/Licensure** • *Licensed Pharmacist** • *Education: Pharm.D. or BS Pharm** Salary: 93,900.00 - 125,200.00 - 156,500.00 USD Annual (Target $101,060.00- $125,200 with 20% MIP) P4 • *Education** Pharm.D. or BS Pharm Required • *Certifications/Licensure** Licensed Pharmacist • *Physical Requirements** General Office Demands At McKesson, we care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
