Position: Sr. Corporate Trainer- Instructional & eLearning Design Overview: The purpose of this job is to facilitate, develop and deliver dynamic, high-quality classroom, web-based and online training courses, and content. This individual will also develop training content and creative classroom activities using various techniques to enhance the associate s educational experience and reinforce major course objectives. Will work with the management team and associates in their area of responsibility to understand training/development needs. Responsibilities: Develop and write high-quality training programs, solutions, and materials by utilizing varying development methods and techniques. Consult with and prepare content for approval by content owners and company department heads for ongoing training needs across many subject matter areas. Develop eLearning courses using eLearning design programs such as Storyline or Rise. Collaborate with an eLearning Designer to write and develop content for online training courses. Facilitate and deliver high-quality training programs and solutions by utilizing varying training methods and techniques and teach multiple curricula across a variety of business units. Continuously review, evaluate, and update existing and proposed programs to ensure content is relevant and timely. Stay updated on any changes in system processes, policies and procedures and make appropriate changes to all training materials and content. Evaluate and provide feedback to management on associate s skill level while attending class along with any needs for improvement. Develop and maintain constructive working relationships with stakeholders, such as Human Resources partners, Retail Administration and other department leaders, and subject-matter experts. Manage the information placed into LMS regarding the classes being conducted. Act as a mentor for other members of the department. Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications: Minimum of bachelor s degree in related field and five (5) years corporate training and leadership content development and eLearning design experience OR Minimum of seven (7) years corporate training and leadership content development and eLearning design experience Knowledge and proven application of adult learning theory and instructional design theory Proven ability to create and adapt training curriculum based on associates needs Knowledge and skills on the technical tools and platforms required to achieve the delivery of engaging and media-rich online learning content and of trends in the use and effectiveness of educational technology and learning; skilled in the efficient use of common instructional authoring tools, especially Articulate Storyline and the Articulate 360 suite. Knowledge and proven application of virtual classroom training methods Ability to facilitate training using multiple delivery methods (in-person, and virtual) using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, or lectures Classroom management skills including organization, time management, recognizing learner accomplishments, and correcting inappropriate behavior Excellent organizational skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proofreading; and ability to build and adapt course materials for the intended audience Demonstrated project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and coordinate to meet target dates for implementation Possess attention to detail and an eye for contemporary design Must be proficient with software applications and equipment specific to instructional design (i.e., authoring software (preferred Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Pow Toon), web-based meeting software, video conferencing equipment, video/audio recording/editing software). Adaptable enough to thrive in in a fast-paced and continually changing environment Ability to work well independently and within a team setting Ability to innovate and be a positive agent for change Proficient in PC applications (specifically, Microsoft Word and Power Point) Proficient in communication and collaboration applications (such as Teams, webinar applications and SharePoint) Must be able to travel to offices/branches within area of responsibility Preferred: Training, instructional; design and/or eLearning design certifications Experience specifically with Microsoft Teams Experience with specific online class development software: Storyline, Rise, Replay, and Captivate Apply tot his job Apply tot his job
