Sr. Actuarial Analyst. Remote Role Priority and very fast moving role Actuarial Analyst W/ Either ACAS Or FCAS Designation Job Posting: Seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to lead and support personal lines rate filings for Auto and Umbrella products. This contract role offers a remote work arrangement and the opportunity to engage directly with state Departments of Insurance (DOIs) while collaborating across teams to ensure regulatory compliance, actuarial soundness, and competitive positioning. Key Responsibilities: • Lead and support personal lines rate filings (Auto and Umbrella), including direct engagement with state DOIs. • Review and provide feedback on filings prepared by junior analysts to ensure actuarial rigor and alignment with business strategy. • Anticipate and address DOI objections with clear, data-driven responses. • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure filings reflect current trends, regulatory expectations, and market dynamics. • Present technical concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences, including executive leadership. Qualifications: • Bachelor s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field. • 4+ years of actuarial or analytical experience, including 2+ years focused on U.S. personal lines rate filings. • ACAS or FCAS designation required. • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a deep understanding of regulatory processes and DOI interactions. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts. • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines. • Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Top Skills: • Critical thinking and analytical problem-solving in complex regulatory environments. • Clear communication of technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. • Strategic management of DOI inquiries and objections.
