About the position The Marketing Specialist at Optum is responsible for managing and executing social media and marketing campaigns, as well as assisting with website updates. This role focuses on providing engaging content across social platforms to support provider-specific promotions, patient acquisition, and cultural recognitions. The position requires a skilled communicator with experience in managing social channels and a strong understanding of social marketing technology. Responsibilities • Collaborate with the director and internal cross-functional teams to plan and execute social media campaigns. • Manage the creative development process with internal/external partners, including developing creative briefs. • Oversee the social media plan from start to finish, ensuring timely execution within brand standards. • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, keeping them informed about social media plans and results. • Report on campaign performance and adjust strategies based on analysis for effectiveness. • Ensure quality assurance for campaign setup and make relevant updates to website content for consistency. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in marketing, advertising, or a related field, with at least 2 years of paid and organic social media experience. • 3+ years of project management experience. • Proven solid communication skills. • Proven solid organizational skills. • Proven intermediate analytical skills. Nice-to-haves • Experience with a variety of paid, owned, and earned social strategies. • Proven solid writing skills. • Agency experience. • Design experience. • Proven keen attention to detail.
