Senior Web Developer (Front-end) | Remote | AirStrip

We're adding a Senior Front-end Web Developer to our AirStrip team. In this role, you're focused on progressive web app (PWA) design utilizing a variety of common modern web frameworks, along with highly custom solutions and technologies. You'll work closely with platform architects to deliver flexible component based solutions while focusing on points of integration between various product lines. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Work closely with team members in a cross-disciplinary environment. • Ability to work long term on a single product, as well as having an expectation on moving between product lines as needed. • Be able to thrive in an environment without a great deal of oversight. • Effective communication with architect leads, with the ability to follow established design paradigms while offering ideas for new solutions. • Follow stylistic design guidelines while offering suggestions for design enhancements. • Port existing solutions from non-PWA product lines into a standardized PWA code base. • Ensure proper, consistent functionality across a wide variety of platforms (Windows, MacOs, Linux, Android, iPad/iPhone and more) through this unified PWA design. Education & Experience Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (commensurate experience may be considered in place of a degree) • 5+ years previous experience in web development. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Exceptional HTML/CSS skill sets. • Javascript, with the knowledge of which feature sets are available at various versions of webkit/blink based browsers. • Ability to work within a dockerized local development environment. • Knowledge of a variety of JS framesworks, in particular EmberJS, Svelte and React. • Advanced web technologies and communication knowledge, including websocket, indexDB, session/local/user account storage solutions and service-workers. • A deep understanding of responsive design across diverse devices including non-interactive dashboards, interactive desktop display and mobile devices. • Version control and software repository skills with GitHub. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Ability to work in Linux or MacOS development environments. • General networking knowledge (ssh, vpn) and various methodologies. • Understanding of color spaces and auto-theme generation based upon key css variables. • An ability to leverage color theory to maintain optimal visual clarity of product lines with a consistent look and feel. • Working knowledge of common file formats: json, xml, markdown, etc. • Healthcare technology knowledge, including HL7 messaging and HIPAA compliance. The anticipated base salary for applicable remote US-based applicants to this position is below. The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications, prior experience as well as geographic location. • $115,000 - $140,000 base salary, plus bonus potential. Apply tot his job
