About the role… ShopMy is looking for a highly organized, strategic, and systems-minded Senior Manager of Catalog Management to lead and scale our catalog operations as we grow. Reporting into the Product Team, this role will oversee all aspects of catalog integrity, structure, and expansion — ensuring the catalog continues to support a high-quality experience for creators, brands, and consumers. You’ll lead a small but mighty team, partner cross-functionally with teams like Product, Engineering, Brand Growth, and own key relationships with third-party partners. You’ll be responsible for maintaining and improving catalog accuracy, developing operational processes that scale, and driving roadmap conversations around catalog tooling and automation. The ideal candidate brings a sharp operational mindset, strong project management skills, and comfort working across internal systems, external partners, and technical stakeholders. About the ideal candidate… • You thrive in creating order out of complexity and building processes that scale • You have managed and mentored a team to reach high standards of execution • You are great at working cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams • You have a passion for driving automation and tooling improvements that unlock speed and accuracy • You can make the catalog a competitive advantage through structured, high-quality data Roles and responsibilities… • Own and evolve ShopMy’s catalog infrastructure, including product categorization, tagging, and quality assurance systems • Manage and mentor a growing catalog operations team, ensuring strong execution and ongoing development • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to identify and implement catalog automation opportunities • Act as the primary point of contact with third-party vendors ensuring scalable, high-quality data entry and QA • Proactively define and monitor catalog KPIs and data quality metrics, including accuracy, completeness, and consistency • Streamline catalog workflows by designing and maintaining documentation, standard operating procedures, and prioritization frameworks Our non-negotiables… • 4-7+ years of experience in operations, merchandising, or product roles — ideally in e-commerce, retail, or marketplaces • People management experience, including managing ICs and vendor relationships • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives with product, engineering, or technical operations • Strong project management skills with experience overseeing complex workflows • Comfort working in tools like Excel, POPSQL, Notion, and/or light analytics tools • Native-level English and strong written communication • Exceptionally detail-oriented with a highly organized, process-driven mindset Additional skills and attributes… • Experience with catalog or taxonomy systems in e-commerce or retail • Familiarity with SQL, dashboarding, or catalog performance metrics • Experience working with third-party vendors or human-in-the-loop teams • Background in tools like Looker, POPSQL, or internal data quality platforms • A bias for action, paired with a passion for data integrity and internal enablement The provided salary range is base salary, exclusive of bonus potential or commission and is a good faith estimate of cash compensation.
