Seeking Social Media Advisor for Lifesaving Animal Apps (Nonprofit)

NOTE: This position is available only to persons residing in North, Central and South America. Explicit application instructions are provided below. Animal Help Now needs an experienced social media professional and dedicated animal lover/respecter to advise the organization's outreach team on social media matters (including strategy, tagging, etc.). The outreach team's primary work involves developing materials for presentations and social media posts. The position requires 1-4 hours a week, ideally including a weekly team meeting. This is low-hanging fruit for any outreach professional who wants to add impact to their portfolio or to help save animal lives, and it's ideal for someone who wants to do both. Messaging is substantially developed. It focuses on the organization's established Animal Help Now app (see www.AHNow.org) and its new Pet Help and Rescue app (www.PHaR.org), a neighbors-based messaging app for evacuating neighborhood animals who are home alone when disasters strike. The successful applicant will work closely with upper management, including the organization's co-founder.
