[Remote] Provider Credentialing Specialist

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. RemoteHunter is a large provider of outpatient physical and occupational therapy services with over 1,200 locations nationwide. The Provider Credentialing Specialist will manage the credentialing and re-credentialing process for medical providers, ensuring compliance with health plans and maintaining accurate provider data. Responsibilities Maintain accurate provider data across all credentialing systems Complete and track credentialing and re-credentialing applications for timely enrollment Maintain current licenses and required documents for assigned providers Collaborate with HR to support onboarding of practitioners Keep clinicians, field leaders, and payers informed throughout the credentialing process Respond to credentialing questions and updates promptly and professionally Ensure credentialing work complies with federal, state, and payer requirements Cross-train and support broader team needs as required Perform other projects and duties as assigned Skills High School diploma or equivalent experience Prior experience in Medical Credentialing Process and Revenue Cycle Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with providers, leadership, staff, and external partners Strong organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively Proven problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications Benefits Annual paid Charity Day to support a cause meaningful to employees 100% employer-paid medical health insurance premium option available Dental and Vision insurance 401(k) with company match Generous PTO and paid holidays Supportive team and leadership invested in employee success Company Overview RemoteHunter is your dedicated AI job search assistant, turning the job hunt from a slow, individual effort into a quicker, smarter, and guided experience by streamlining each step of the process and speeding up your path to the right career opportunities.
