Remote Pharmacy Clerk - PRN TN-Tennessee-FIELD

Pharmacy Clerk This is a 100% remote pharmacy clerk position supporting a Cardinal-owned specialty pharmacy. The Clerk will provide prescription order entry details to support the pharmacist processing the prescription order. Schedule: PRN, Flexible Schedule to cover business hours as needed between Monday-Friday 8:00am - 10:00pm CST Projected PRN-basis Hours per Week: 6 to 12 Hours per Week MMS Solutions, a division of Cardinal Health, is a specialty pharmacy serving nephrology physician offices and clinics. Located in La Vergne, Tennessee, MMS Solutions is a full-service closed-door specialty pharmacy dedicated in dispensing renal-specific medications, nutritional’s, and ancillary supply orders directly to the patients homes. Responsibilities: • Effectively manage moderate to high prescription volume. • Detail-oriented. • Input patient data into the pharmacy information management system. • Display professional approach with team members at all times. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Maintains knowledge of and abides by all HIPAA, Board of Pharmacy, and applicable federal and state regulations. Qualifications • Data Entry experience preferred • Call center experience preferred • High School Diploma or GED preferred. • Two-years of relative work experience preferred. • Must demonstrate effective verbal and written communications, with a desire to provide superior phone customer service. • Candidate needs to demonstrate initiative, time management, organizational skills, a professional demeanor, and positive attitude. • Must be willing to take on additional duties when needed. • Responsible and willing to function as a cooperative team member. • Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite as well as the ability to learn competencies in pharmacy information system. • May Require vendor credentialing What is expected of you and others at this level • Applies acquired job skills and company policies and procedures to complete standard tasks • Works on routine assignments that require basic problem resolution • Refers to policies and past practices for guidance • Receives general direction on standard work; receives detailed instruction on new assignments • Consults with supervisor or senior peers on complex and unusual problems Anticipated hourly range: $15.00 per hour - $19.60 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Paid Time Off, in compliance with applicable laws Application window anticipated to close: 12/11/2025 *if interested in opportunity, please submit application as soon as possible The hourly range listed is an estimate.
