Key Responsibilities Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting services for a variety of clients, including financial statement preparation, account reconciliations, and tax returns. Handle tasks such as payroll processing, sales tax (Transaction Privilege Tax) preparation, 1099 preparation, and Workers' Compensation/Insurance audits. Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain financial data integrity and perform regular checks to ensure compliance and correctness. Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, and other tools to efficiently manage client data and perform tasks. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management through written and verbal reports, emails, and phone calls. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Proven accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting firm or industry. Familiarity with QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and Client Relationship Manager (CRM) software. The ability to quickly learn new accounting software and systems. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A high level of honesty, integrity, dependability, and critical thinking. The ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. While not required, business tax preparation experience is a plus, and having a CPA certification is preferred. What We Offer At A.M.
