[Remote] Junior Lawyer - Intellectual Property

They are seeking a Junior Lawyer with a strong interest and some experience in Intellectual Property law to support international trademark and IP processes in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Responsibilities • Manage and monitor email inboxes for incoming client and law firm correspondence • Update the practice management system (Patricia) with important dates and deadlines • Process correspondence from international IP law firms • Handle incoming notifications from various IP offices • Input costs and liaise with attorneys for matter updates and client billing • Prepare and maintain client schedules: • Generate trademark schedules across multiple jurisdictions • Format schedules and data pulled from the Patricia system • Perform general legal administrative tasks: • Format legal correspondence and letters for clients • Prepare client costing breakdowns • Assist with various administrative and support duties as needed Skills • Law degree from an accredited institution; current or recent admission to practice is a plus • 1–3 years of legal experience, preferably within an IP or trademark-focused environment • Familiarity with IP practice systems (Patricia or similar) is highly desirable • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail • Excellent written communication and document formatting skills • Comfortable working across multiple jurisdictions and time zones • Able to work independently in a fully remote setup while collaborating effectively with teams Benefits • Opportunity for 100% remote work. • Competitive AUD compensation package. • Access to advanced legal research and practice management tools. • Continuing education and professional development support focused on Australian personal injury law.
