[Remote] Financial Management Consultant – Nonprofit & Grant Accounting (Remote)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Corporate F.A.C.T.S., Inc. provides outsourced accounting and financial management services to nonprofit and government clients. They are seeking an experienced accounting professional to join their team as a Financial Management Consultant, focusing on hands-on accounting work for nonprofit and government clients. Responsibilities • Perform and manage day-to-day and monthly accounting functions, including AP, AR, payroll coordination, reconciliations, and general ledger management • Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules • Develop and monitor grant budgets, budget-to-actual reports, and cash flow projections • Support indirect cost rate calculations and documentation • Assist with audits, monitoring reviews, and compliance activities • Ensure compliance with 2 CFR Part 200 (Uniform Guidance) and HUD requirements • Identify accounting process improvements and support their implementation • Train and support client staff on accounting procedures and reporting Skills • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with substantial accounting experience • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on accounting or grant accounting experience • Direct experience maintaining general ledgers and producing financial statements • Experience with nonprofit and/or government accounting and federal grants • Proficiency in QuickBooks (SAP or Yardi experience a plus) • Strong organizational and communication skills • Ability to manage multiple accounting clients independently in a remote environment Benefits • Fully remote work with flexibility within core business hours • Competitive compensation with performance-based growth over time Company Overview • Corporate FACTS: Strengthening Organizations, Maximizing Impact Corporate FACTS (C-FACTS) provides financial management, strategic planning, and capacity-building services that enable nonprofits and public agencies to achieve measurable results and sustainable growth.
