Key Responsibilities: Advocate for the safety, well-being, and permanency of Florida's abused, abandoned, and neglected children Conduct thorough investigations and gather evidence to support legal action Prepare and present cases in court, including trials and appeals Collaborate with investigators, case managers, and other stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcomes for children Stay up-to-date on changes in the law and best practices in dependency advocacy Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge Qualifications: To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must have: A law degree from an accredited institution For senior attorney applicants, a minimum of 2 years of bar admission Excellent communication and advocacy skills The ability to work independently and as part of a team A strong commitment to advocating for the best interests of children Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience in dependency proceedings or related areas of law Familiarity with Florida law and procedures Experience working with children and families Training and Professional Development: At CLS, we are committed to providing our attorneys with the training and support they need to succeed.
