ON CALL Mobile Integrated Healthcare Cardiac/Paramedic Join to apply for the ON CALL Mobile Integrated Healthcare Cardiac/Paramedic role at Alert Ambulance Service, Inc. Alert Healthcare is providing mobile and other healthcare services to residents and organizations throughout Rhode Island. We are currently seeking a per diem On Call Response Cardiac or Paramedic for overnights, weekends, and holidays. This is an on-call from home position with an on-call rate paid to the applicant for availability during set times, and a response rate if a response is warranted. The role involves providing off-hours clinician coverage to Rhode Island community members. The On Call Response Cardiac/Paramedic would be available during specific hours to visit community members for medical complaints, assess patients, and coordinate care with healthcare providers. Responsibilities include patient assessment, treatment, and contacting emergency services if needed. Job Duties • Conduct sick visits or check-in visits. • Provide services such as lab draws, medication reconciliation, vital signs, patient assessments, medication administration, ECG transmission, swab collections, IV medication, documentation, and other tasks within scope of practice. • Work independently in the community while maintaining communication with healthcare providers. • Exhibit strong communication, organizational skills, and clinical assessment experience. • Provide excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Qualifications • Must reside in Rhode Island, preferably Warwick or surrounding areas. • Active EMT-Cardiac or EMT-Paramedic license in Rhode Island. • At least 2 years of experience as EMT-C or EMT-P. • CPR certification, maintained during employment. • Experience with IVs, lab draws, medication administration; ECG experience preferred. • Immunization records, background check, clean driving record, TB and Fit tests required. Job Details • Hours: Monday-Friday 16:30-08:00, weekends/holidays 08:00-08:00. • Wages: EMT-C $30/hr, EMT-P $40/hr. • On-call pay: $5/hr (Mon-Thu), $10/hr (Fri-Sun). • Equipment provided: Zoll monitor, O2 bag, company vehicle, fuel card. • Minimum 3 shifts per month preferred.
