LIVE CHAT AGENT/CUSTOMER SUPPORT AGENT

As a Live Chat Agent, you’ll serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking assistance via live chat, email, or other messaging platforms. Your goal is to provide fast, accurate, and helpful responses while maintaining a professional and friendly tone. This is a fully remote role that requires strong communication skills, tech-savviness, and a customer-first mindset. Key Responsibilities: Respond to customer inquiries via live chat, email, or ticketing systems in real-time Resolve product or service issues quickly and effectively Provide accurate information regarding company products, services, orders, and policies Escalate complex issues to the appropriate internal departments when needed Document customer interactions in CRM or support software Maintain service level targets for response and resolution times Stay up to date on product knowledge, company updates, and support procedures Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree a plus 1+ year of customer service or live chat support experience (preferred) Excellent written communication skills with a professional and friendly tone Strong multitasking ability—comfortable managing multiple chats at once Familiarity with customer support tools (e.g., Zendesk, Intercom, LiveChat, Freshdesk, or similar) Reliable high-speed internet connection and a quiet work environment Ability to work independently and stay organized in a remote setting Soft Skills: Empathy and patience when dealing with customer concerns Active listening and problem-solving skills Positive attitude and willingness to help Strong attention to detail and accuracy Team player mindset with the ability to work autonomously Work Environment: 100% remote Shifts may include evenings, weekends, or holidays (depending on business hours) Must be available for scheduled training sessions and team meetings Benefits: Competitive hourly rate or salary Flexible work schedule (varies by role) Paid training and development opportunities Work-from-home stipend (if applicable) Supportive and collaborative virtual team environment Apply tot his job
