In this strategic role, you will oversee privacy incidents and guide a dedicated team of compliance professionals in navigating complex regulatory landscapes. Your expertise will facilitate proactive analysis and reporting on privacy matters, ensuring that critical incidents are managed with rigor and effectiveness. Collaborating across various business units, you will drive improvements that minimize risk and enhance organizational resilience. This position demands advanced analytical abilities and exceptional communication skills to influence stakeholders and foster a culture of compliance and accountability. Responsibilities • Partner with leadership to implement and maintain an effective incident response program. • Lead investigations and resolutions of privacy issues for the Privacy Office. • Design and deliver privacy compliance training programs and conduct audits. • Prepare required notifications in line with legal obligations. • Monitor incident response program performance and recommend enhancements. • Advise on incident response and privacy-related inquiries. • Serve as a compliance resource for internal and external stakeholders. • Collaborate with legal teams to resolve compliance issues. • Respond to and investigate privacy incidents uniformly and consistently. • Coordinate incident response activities across departments. • Manage a team of analysts addressing privacy incidents. • Collaborate with various divisions to ensure timely incident resolution. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree required. • 5+ years of experience in managing large privacy incidents. • Experience in healthcare and/or pharmacy benefit management compliance. • Demonstrated leadership abilities in incident management. • Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. • Knowledge of state and federal breach notification laws, including HIPAA. • Competency in privacy management software and incident tracking tools. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
