I’m seeking a website designer to build a simple, user-friendly site for a grant-funded community project to support family caregivers in Southwest Missouri by allowing them to offer and request help from each other directly. The project is fully funded with a firm budget of $500, and I need the site completed by September 1, 2025. What the Website Needs to Do: - Let caregivers create an account (via Wix Members Area or similar) - Allow logged-in users to submit a form offering or requesting help - Display those submissions on a public directory-style page - Include basic pages: Home, About, Events/Announcements, Resources, Contact - Include a note/disclaimer or tag for listings that may require a background check - Be easy for me to update after launch (no ongoing dev required) - Be mobile-friendly, ADA-compliant, and cleanly designed Platform: I’m open to Wix, Squarespace, or WordPress - whichever allows us to deliver the functionality efficiently within budget. (Wix Members Area with Content Manager seems like a good fit, but I'm open to your guidance.) What I Will Provide: - Written content for all pages - Logo and visual brand direction - List of required form fields and page structure - Prompt communication and feedback Ideal Candidate: - Experience designing community-focused or directory-style websites - Familiar with Member Area + Content Manager features on Wix/Squarespace - Can deliver a polished, functional site on a tight budget and timeline - Has an eye for clean, visually appealing design. The site should feel warm and approachable, with a layout that’s easy to navigate for users who may not be very tech-savvy.
