Temporary Analyst, Global Rights and Rights Production

Join Our Team as a Temporary Analyst, Global Rights and Rights Production We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Temporary Analyst to join our Global Rights team. As a Temporary Analyst, you will play a crucial role in providing dedicated rights management support, ensuring that all materials used in our internally-produced content are properly cleared and licensed for distribution to all desired territories and platforms. Key Responsibilities: Review and verify rights bibles, perform detailed contract analysis on third-party license agreements, and research use of public domain materials Identify and address clearance issues, provide advice, and suggest alternative solutions while implementing A+E policy to ensure agreement and legal compliance Facilitate clearance requests and licensing by working closely with the production team in researching copyright ownership, public domain, fair use, and pre-existing A+E owned materials Contribute to cost tracking and budget management, and create rights bibles (show deliverables) and support materials Collaborate closely with Post Production, Legal & Business Affairs, external archives, and third-party licensors to cultivate relationships and communicate with clarity and sensitivity Requirements: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience analyzing third-party licenses and various forms of programming and distribution agreements Ability to read and analyze license agreements, with expertise in licensing from archival vendors Familiarity with content distribution platforms from broadcast to digital, long, and short form, and developing formats Understanding of music copyright licensing and the required documentation based on usage type within programming Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience, with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Soundmouse a plus) What We Offer: Competitive salary: $1,461.54 per week Remote work arrangement Immediate start date available Opportunity to work with a leading media company, A+E Networks How to Apply: If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for rights management, please apply to this exciting opportunity.
