Tech Lead, Endpoints

Description: Lead world-class product development for endpoint management across multiple platforms. Provide leadership and support to the endpoint management team. Mentor junior engineers to increase delivery and meet departmental objectives. Automate processes to enhance security and create efficiencies. Requirements: SME knowledge of MS InTune, Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and system administration. Experience with cloud platforms and integrating endpoint management with cloud services. Knowledge and implementation experience of Zero Trust security principles to enhance endpoint security. Proficiency in using automation tools and frameworks to streamline endpoint management processes. Expertise in managing and securing endpoints in a remote or hybrid work environment. Ability to analyze endpoint data to drive insights and improve management strategies. Emphasis on improving the end-user experience through efficient and user-friendly endpoint management solutions. Proficiency package management like Chocolatey, Homebrew, or Winget for automating software installation and management. Experience patch management tools like Windows Autopatch, WSUS (Windows Server Update Services), or third-party patch management solutions to ensure systems are up-to-date and secure. Expertise in using configuration management tools such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (formerly SCCM), Puppet, Chef, or Ansible for consistent and automated configuration of endpoints. Skills in deploying applications using Microsoft Intune, Jamf for macOS, or other MDM (Mobile Device Management) solutions. Advanced scripting abilities in PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate repetitive tasks and streamline endpoint management processes. Experience with remote management tools and techniques to support and troubleshoot endpoints in distributed environments. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements, including implementing endpoint protection solutions like Microsoft Defender for Endpoint. Proficiency in using monitoring tools and generating reports to track endpoint health and performance. Understanding of the complete endpoint lifecycle, from provisioning and deployment to maintenance and decommissioning, ensuring efficient and secure management throughout.
