Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching and Learning Specialist to join our team at Anoka-Hennepin School District. As a Teaching and Learning Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing elementary curriculum, assessment, and instruction in Science and Social Studies. Key Responsibilities: Serve as a District teaching and learning specialist for elementary curriculum, assessment, and instruction in Science and Social Studies. Ensure all students have access to learning opportunities that meet MN academic standards and acquire 21st-century learning skills and dispositions. Assess curriculum, assessment, and instructional needs for the elementary program and develop programming to meet identified needs. Plan and provide support and training in instructional improvement practices, standards implementation, intervention practices, and implementation of district-adopted Science and Social Studies curriculum. Provide instructional staff with accurate and timely student assessment/testing information for decision-making. Deliver services to meet the special needs of all learners. Organize and facilitate staff development. Facilitate communication between the district office and schools, classrooms, and community to promote the goals and outcomes of Anoka-Hennepin School District. Requirements: Current Elementary Education Teaching License. Ability to work in collaboration with others and function in team settings. Preferred: Full standard license in the assigned subject and grade level (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license). What We Offer: Competitive salary.
