Job title: Summer School High Dose Reading Tutor in Oregon City, OR at Oregon City School District 62 Company: Oregon City School District 62 Job description : Job Description: Preference will be given to internal candidates and may be filled by licensed or classified staff SUMMER SCHOOL K-2 High Dose Reading Tutor (up to 30 positions available) Description: The "High Dose" tutoring position involves working with students in grades K-2 in small groups of no more than three. Tutors will conduct 30-minute sessions, four days a week, during the summer. This is a temporary summer position with a daily commitment of 2 hours, specifically from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM from June 30th to August 7th. High Dose tutors will be trained in a reading intervention curriculum and must follow the guidance of the summer school program administrator. Must attend a reading intervention training session prior to summer school starting during the week of June 22nd. Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities Conducting small group reading interventions. Working with small groups or individual students. Preparing instructional materials. Supporting student engagement and participation in reading intervention. Maintain student progress records and conduct progress monitoring assessments.
