Student Success Specialist - Empowering Student Achievement at Harford Community College

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and student-focused professional to join our team as a Student Success Specialist at Harford Community College. As a key member of our student support services team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing coaching strategies to help students achieve academic success. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement individualized success plans for students, providing guidance on study skills, academic support resources, and campus-wide initiatives. Coordinate and manage scheduled and group tutoring programs, ensuring seamless delivery of academic support services. Provide leadership on student success best practices, advising at-risk populations, and monitoring student progress. Collaborate with academic divisions to develop support resources, learning initiatives, and teaching methods that facilitate student success. Manage daily operations and activities of the Learning Center, including staff supervision, scheduling, and customer service initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a related field. At least one year of work experience in a related field, preferably in a college tutoring/learning center. Knowledge of student development theory and intermediate MS Office skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working at a college tutoring/learning center, coordinating tutoring and academic support initiatives.
