Job Description: As a Refrigerated Truck Driver, you will be a critical part of our logistics team, responsible for the safe and timely transport of temperature-sensitive goods across various locations. This role requires vigilance, excellent driving skills, and a deep understanding of refrigerated freight operations. Responsibilities: – Safe operation of refrigerated trucks, ensuring the timely transportation of perishable goods, adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations. – Regular inspection and maintenance of refrigeration equipment to ensure optimal function. – Loading and unloading of goods, ensuring the quality and proper handling of all items. – Regular communication with dispatchers and management, reporting any delays, incidents, or other issues. – Accurate and timely submission of all required paperwork, including delivery logs and inspection reports. – Adhering to all company policies and safety standards. Requirements: – Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). – Minimum of 2 years of experience in refrigerated truck driving. – Clean driving record. – Physically able to load and unload goods. – Strong understanding of refrigeration systems. – High school diploma or GED equivalent.
