Plant Operative - Days & Nights Shifts

As a Plant Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our plant, monitoring processing, sorting machines, and screens, and responding to any issues that may arise. Position Overview: Company: Workwarp Start Date: Immediate openings available Position: Plant Operative - Shifts Days & Nights Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package Location: Remote As a Plant Operative, your responsibilities will include: Monitoring and maintaining plant processing, sorting machines, and screens to ensure maximum efficiency Responding to machine issues, plant bottlenecks, or blockages, and reacting to plant alarms Covering senior plant operators and other plant roles as needed Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including keeping landings, walkways, and stairs free of debris Completing accurate paperwork at the start and end of each shift to ensure effective shift handovers Operating the company FLT (if trained) and keeping all machines free of dust buildup Relieving other plant operative roles as required to cover break times and holiday cover Monitoring waste streams and addressing any adverse variations quickly and effectively Assisting Maintenance during plant downtimes, ensuring you are supervised or fully conversant with task requirements and safety needs Please note that this role can be dusty, and PPE masks are required in this area.
