Responsibilities: Create engaging lesson plans that promote learning and development Provide early intervention and support for children with special needs Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment Conduct assessments to track children's progress and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with other classroom teachers to support children's educational goals Utilize effective teaching strategies to enhance literacy education Provide small group academic support as needed Requirements: Appropriate Certification for grade/subject area Successful prior teaching experience in grades K-8 and/or K-12 Must pass CHRU background check Must have recent Tuberculosis screening Nice to have: Previous experience working with children in a school setting Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices Familiarity with special education techniques and strategies Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Excellent organizational skills for lesson planning and classroom management Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children ERESC is an Equal Opportunity Employer Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $40.04 per hour Expected hours: No more than 28 per week Benefits: Flexible schedule Paid time off Schedule: Monday to Friday No nights No weekends Work Location: In person Apply Job!
