Job Summary: Chamberlain University is seeking a highly skilled and passionate Nursing Education and Simulation Specialist to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a Nursing Education and Simulation Specialist, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing students by providing academic support, remediation, and simulation experiences that foster student success. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience in nursing academics and potentially transition into a faculty role in the future. Responsibilities: Provide academic support, remediation, and evaluation in didactic and clinical learning concepts, including patient care simulations. Assess student learning styles, identify strengths, and develop personalized remediation plans to support academic success. Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure seamless integration of simulation experiences into the curriculum. Prepare and maintain simulation labs and equipment to replicate real-world healthcare settings. Develop and implement clinically-based scenarios for simulation experiences, including high-fidelity patient simulators. Provide individual oversight to students during practice and remediation of technical nursing skills. Participate in planning and scheduling learning spaces for students and faculty. Contribute to national academic and clinical learning conferences. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required; Master's Degree in Education or Nursing preferred. 1 year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring support. Unencumbered RN license and BLS CPR certification required; ACLS and/or PALS preferred. Excellent communication skills with ability to communicate via telephone, computer, and in person.
