Mortgage Processor & Closer opportunity with our client in Wisconsin Rapids! Work as part of a well-established bank that is proud to call Central Wisconsin home. In a fast-paced environment, will be responsible for gathering and reconciling conditions on mortgage loan files and closings, and ensuring loan files close by the correct date. Duties include: Reviewing and analyzing residential and land appraisals Calculating and analyzing income and asset documentation to ensure adequate funds Ordering and evaluating real estate title insurance binders Preparing closing packages & reviewing necessary paperwork with regard to mortgage regulations Loading loan information into mortgage software system Calculating and processing construction to permanent loan financing Preparing and analyzing Excel spreadsheet reports Analyzing General Ledgers Communicating loan status to appropriate parties Training & Cross Training co-workers This position will typically work 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Pay range negotiable and offers a quarterly bonus. The Mortgage Processor & Closer will work between two locations in the Wisconsin Rapids area. Requirements: Previous banking/loan experience; specific mortgage loan processing & closing, mortgage underwriting experience highly desired Must be a resourceful self-starter Must be service-oriented Proven ability to meet deadlines and make quick decisions High degree of detail and accuracy Proficiency in MS Word & Excel, and ability to learn loan platform software A criminal background check and credit check will be conducted on final candidate.
