Vanguard College Prep is seeking a passionate and experienced Math Instructor to teach small groups of students in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. As a Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of future leaders, helping them develop essential core skills, and preparing them for success in high school, college, and beyond. Our ideal candidate is a skilled educator with a strong background in mathematics, a passion for teaching, and a commitment to helping students achieve their goals. Key Responsibilities: Instruct small groups of students in math core skills, promoting long-term understanding and top scores in college readiness exams (ACT & SAT) Track student progress, engaging students in individualized growth and improvement opportunities Develop and execute creative lesson plans, mentoring middle and high school students with empathy and understanding Maintain strong organizational skills, replying to students in a timely manner and updating student lesson schedules on our online platform Requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field (Master's or higher preferred) Teaching experience in math and/or experience working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years) GPA of 3.5 or higher Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites Access to a reliable internet connection and a workspace with minimal noise/distraction What We Offer: Competitive compensation structure (dependent on experience) with benefits Starting Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour Comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, sick days, and paid winter vacations Opportunity to work with a distinctly engaged, enthusiastic, and driven client base of students Elite team of instructors, counselors, and specialists from Ivy League and top universities across the nation Quickly growing start-up environment with opportunities for long-term career growth Why Join Vanguard College Prep?
