Make a Difference in the Lives of Students: Become a School Year Tutor with New Jersey Tutoring Corps Inc. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a School Year Tutor, working with students in grades K-8 to close learning gaps in math and literacy. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in helping students build foundational skills and achieve academic success. This is a part-time, remote opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour, depending on certification. The program will run for 24 weeks, with a schedule of 3 days a week, 9 am - 3 pm, and a maximum of 18 hours per week. Key Responsibilities: Engage with small groups of students (1-5) to build math and literacy skills Complete daily records on student progress and site needs using provided tools Use data to drive instruction and inform teaching practices Communicate regularly with site coordinators to provide optimal learning experiences Participate in coaching and professional development opportunities Requirements: Experience working with young children, preferably in a teaching or learning capacity New Jersey Certification of Criminal History (fingerprint form) Proficiency in Google Suite functions, including Google Sheets and Forms Professional skills, including attention to detail, timely communication, and job preparedness Reliable transportation to travel to sites What We Offer: Competitive hourly rate of $30-$40 per hour, depending on certification Opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students Collaborative and supportive work environment Professional development and coaching opportunities How to Apply: Please submit your resume via our online platform.
