Job Summary As a Title 1 Paraprofessional - Class Assistant , you will work closely with students, teachers, and staff to: Assist students with classroom activities and implement teacher instruction plans Provide individualized and small-group tutoring to ensure mastery of subjects Supervise students during remote learning periods, breaks, and recess Assist teachers with preparing materials, administering tests, and grading Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and secure learning environment Communicate with parents, staff, and teachers as needed Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required One of the following: AA or 2-year college degree, 48 college semester hours, or passing of a state CDE-approved paraprofessional examination No experience required, but experience working with school-age children is preferred Proficiency in Spanish required for Dual Language Program Criminal background check and First Aid certification required What We Offer Competitive hourly salary: $17.89 - $22.06 per hour Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employee assistance program, voluntary life insurance, and 401(k), 403(b), & 457(b) plans Ready to Apply?
