Job Description: Join Adams 12 Five Star Schools, a community-driven district committed to excellence, equity, and inclusion, as a Title 1 Paraeducator & Class Assistant. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to support students in achieving academic success in a Title I designated school. As a key member of our educational team, you will assist students with reading, writing, and basic math skills, implement instruction, and reinforce learning skills. Key Responsibilities: Assist students with classroom activities, implementing teacher's instruction plan, and providing tutoring to ensure mastering of subjects Supervise in-person students during remote learning, ensuring student safety and security Assist teachers in preparing materials, administering tests, grading, and attendance Monitor students during breaks, recess, and field trips Support special projects, administer first aid (if needed), and perform other job-related duties as assigned Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Meet one of the following requirements: AA or 2-year college degree, 48 college semester hours, passing of state CDE approved paraprofessional examination, or completion of Personal Commitment Plan No experience required, but experience working with school-age children is preferred Proficiency in Spanish (if working in the Dual Language Program) Criminal background check required for hire, First Aid certification preferred What We Offer: Competitive hourly salary ($17.89 - $22.06 per hour) Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance Employee assistance program, voluntary life insurance, and 401(k), 403(b), & 457(b) plans Opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive educational environment How to Apply: If you are passionate about supporting student success and contributing to a community of excellence, equity, and inclusion, apply today to join our team as a Title 1 Paraeducator & Class Assistant.
