Over 16,000 Students 10 Campuses Competency Based Education Online General Education Adjunct - College Management Description Under the direction of the Associate Dean of General Education, the adjunct instructor will provide online instruction in the General Education College Management Course. RESPONSIBILITIES: Adhere to online course delivery and assignment feedback standards as outlined by the General Education leadership team. Provide consistent and ongoing individual outreach to students to maintain a supportive learning environment. Collect all assessment data related to student learning outcomes. Return all graded assignments in a reasonable time frame according to South College Faculty Expectations. Project an appropriate professional image Maintain an equitable system of student evaluation based on sound practices in accordance with the course syllabus. Adhere to all South College rules and policies. Requirements Education Minimum of a master’s degree in a relevant field, preferably education Experience Demonstrated experience supporting first-year students and a strong understanding of a successful first-year experience Prior teaching experience in an online environment Prior teaching experience in higher education Proficient in the written and oral communication of the English language Proficient in Microsoft Word, EXCEL, and PowerPoint Originally posted on Himalayas
