Entry Level Nonprofit Researcher (Part Time)

POSITION TITLE: Entry Level Database Researcher • Applicants MUST be based in one of the following states: Maine, New Hampshire, Connecticut, Maryland, Washington, Colorado, South Carolina, or Texas * Organization Description ITNAmerica promotes lifelong mobility for seniors. We support sustainable, community-based transportation by leading a national transportation network grounded in research, policy analysis and education. This entry level, fully remote, part-time (20-25 hours per week) position features: • Flexible hours • Interesting, varied daily work • Exposure to many elements of working for a national nonprofit • Opportunities for growth The Database Researcher will work for ITNAmerica's "Rides in Sight" program which helps seniors, people with visual impairments, and others will mobility challenges find transportation options. Approximately 2/3 of your time will be spent working in the Rides in Sight database, and 1/3 spent helping seniors on a toll-free telephone hotline. ITNAmerica is seeking someone eager to learn about the nonprofit world and passionate about helping seniors. Responsibilities • Maintain the Rides in Sight database by performing internet research and data entry • Answer telephone calls on ITNAmerica's Rides in Sight hotline • Accept other related duties and tasks as required Qualifications • Highly organized and attentive to detail • Ability to concentrate on one task for several hours at a time • Above average computer skills • Strong verbal communication skills Salary and Benefits This job pays $16.50 per hour.
