Job title: Employment Supports Professional in Saint Paul, MN at Focal Point Homecare Company: Focal Point Homecare Job description : Key Responsibilities: - Conduct individualized, strengths-based assessments and implement employment discovery strategies - Provide direct support during new employee orientation for clients (up to 30 days post-hire) - Deliver skills training in job search techniques, interviewing, resume writing, and using community resources - Assist with employment search and provide ongoing support - Conduct benefits analysis to determine how employment will interact with clients' benefits - Help negotiate and finalize employment terms - Develop job applications, resumes, and cover letters - Perform community business outreach to identify employment opportunities - Support clients in self-employment and microenterprise development, including business planning, marketing, and regulatory compliance - Facilitate progress review and reporting meetings For Self-Employment Support: - Guide clients in business plan development - Assist with business name selection and registration - Help identify start-up financing sources - Support establishment of legal structures and business systems - Aid in developing marketing and sales strategies Qualifications: - Experience working with individuals with disabilities - Knowledge of disability benefits and employment interactions - Strong understanding of business development and employment services - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to provide both in-person and remote support services - Experience with person-centered planning approaches Expected salary : $23 per hour Location : Saint Paul, MN Job date : Thu, 24 Apr 2025 05:58:56 GMT Apply for the job now!
