Your Role: Key responsibilities include: • Completing entry-level professional duties specific to the assigned area of the Bank. • Ensuring activities adhere to internal policies and external regulations. • Understanding and adhering to the Company’s risk and regulatory standards. • Designing, implementing, maintaining, and enhancing internal controls to mitigate risk. • Maintaining M&T internal control standards and addressing audit points. • Completing other related duties as assigned. About You: Candidates should have: • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Demonstrated computer skills. • Proven analytical and critical thinking skills. • Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented. • Work Visa Sponsorship not offered for this role. Compensation & Benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00 per hour. Benefits include medical and retirement plans, and forty hours of paid volunteer time annually. Training & Development: Interns will participate in projects and department initiatives, gain exposure to other departments through guest speakers and industry leaders, and have a built-in network with peers.
