About the position This position is within the Information Technology Division, focusing on the security research, acquisition, design, development, and maintenance of information systems. The role involves advising on complex issues, representing IT and IRS at professional meetings, and providing leadership in the development of major systems. Advise on highly complex issues, studies, research, and analysis projects. , ? Represent and speak on behalf of IT and IRS at professional meetings and conferences. , ? Consult with senior level staff in IRS and other IT specialists on IT policies, issues, and problems. , ? Provide professional leadership and direction in the design and development of major prototype and developmental systems. , ? Conduct research into significant areas such as artificial intelligence and its applications. , ? Collaborate with international experts to develop IT policies and represent IRS in technical committees. , ? Function as a recognized program expert and provide consultation to outside authorities. Requirements ? Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field with 30 semester hours in mathematics, statistics, and computer science. , ? At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must include statistics and mathematics, including differential and integral calculus. , ? Demonstrated professional competence in applying theoretical foundations of computer science. , ? Specialized knowledge of system design characteristics and applications of computing. , ? Experience in security research, acquisition, design, development, and maintenance of information systems. Nice-to-haves ? Experience in Infrastructure Engineering and Design. , ?
