Overview: Location: Remote, with quarterly trips to corporate (tristate area), PA, WV, OH Job Type: Full Time Work Authorization: US Citizen The A.C.Coy company has an immediate opening for a Building Products Commercialization Manager who has a commercial network of leads. Ideal candidates will be able to develop a strategic angle who has sold to 84 lumber, Aztek, Home Depot, etc. Responsibilities: Create and manage comprehensive go-to-market plans for new carbon composite building products, including pricing, positioning, channel strategy, and sales enablement Market and Customer Development: Identify and prioritize market segments, customer needs, and product value propositions Build strong relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, builders, and distributors Sales and Distribution Enablement: Establish and expand sales channels and distribution networks. Train and support reps and distributors Product Launch Execution: Coordinate cross-functional launch activities, including marketing campaigns, trade shows, sample programs, technical documentation, and sales training Market Intelligence: Monitor competitive landscape, product specifications, code requirements, areas of improvement, and regulatory issues impacting product acceptance New Product Development Support: Collaborate with R&D and engineering teams to translate market needs into new product ideas, product features, performance targets, and specification requirements Logistics and Supply Chain Coordination: Ensure product availability, packaging, logistics, and support systems are ready for scalable product roll-out reporting and KPIs: Track and report on key commercialization metrics, customer feedback, and market trends. Recommend course corrections as needed Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred but not required) Minimum 7+ years of experience in the building products industry (decking, siding, roofing, or related categories strongly preferred) Direct experience developing and executing commercialization strategies for new products Deep understanding of building products sales channels, contractor networks, and distribution logistics Strong familiarity with product specifications, building codes, testing requirements, and certification processes Demonstrated access to a network of industry customers, contractors, architects, and distributors Ability to balance high-level strategic planning with tactical execution and hands-on problem solving Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Able to influence internally and externally Experience with innovative materials (e.g., composites, advanced polymers) is a plus Experience launching building products that require code compliance or regulatory approval Background working with startups, innovation groups, or growth-stage companies Travel required Apply for the job now!
