Responsibilities Verify insurance coverage for patients requiring in-home IV therapy. , Perform benefit investigations and obtain prior authorizations for new and existing patients. , Process patient prescription orders in a timely manner. , Demonstrate excellent customer service to patients, healthcare professionals, and insurance carriers. , Understand insurance carriers and concepts including drug cards, major medical benefits, and per diem coverage. Requirements Analytical and problem-solving skills. , Attention to detail. , Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. , High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required. Nice-to-haves Minimum one year experience working in a healthcare environment. , Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors. , Epic experience.
